Contracts Manager

Warwick Group Limited is now seeking an experienced Contract Manager for our Head Office in Chelmsford.
Balancing office and site based work you will be responsible for the management and success of a number of projects, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental and programming.
You must be able to represent the Warwick Group in a strategic manner that gives clients and customers the confidence and surety that this highly demanding position requires.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Maintaining effective and long-term relationships with clients;
• Ability to prioritise and meet pre-defined deadlines;
• Being proactive in the identification and resolution of problems;
• Reviewing methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability;
• Managing, monitoring, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the project teams in their personal development;

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
• High level of leadership and management skills;
• Technical experience and knowledge in drylining, ceilings and other fit-out trades;
• Excellent organisational and communication skills;
• High Level of Health and Safety awareness.

Qualifications:
• Degree (or equivalent) in appropriate subject preferred but not required;
• Min HNC qualified;
• Professional relevant qualifications;
• CITB Level 3 Safety Course;
• Appropriate CSCS Card (SSSTS / SMSTS);
• Experience in a similar role;
• Experience as a Project Manager or similar;

Site Manager

Warwick Group Limited is now seeking an experienced Site Manager for works in and around London, Cambridge and Anglia regions.
You will be responsible for the planning and operation of a project from start to completion, managing site teams and logistics in all aspects of drylining and ceilings installation.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing clear direction to the on site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets;
• Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant including material lead times;
• Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme;
• Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates;
• Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure;
• Ensuring quality at every stage of the installation;
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to;
• Liaising with Contracts Manager and office team in order to keep open lines of communication;
• Ensure customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
• Good level of leadership and site management skills;

• Excellent organisational and communication skills;

Qualifications:

Interiors Quantity Surveyor

Warwick Group Limited is now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor specialising in drylining, partitions and ceiling systems.
This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 5 years’ experience in the Construction Sector, working ideally for a main or sub-contractor
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with the preparation of project budgets, checking projects contracts, and administering projects Contracts.
• Measurement of project to check quantities against tender allowances.
• Preparation of tender documents for any sub contract works and specialist suppliers.
• Set budgets for, and raise payments, for subcontract labour; manage variations as they occur; producing cost reports to clients.
• Assisting with the preparation and discuss the final account for projects.
• Negotiate and agree final accounts within parameters set by Line Manager.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
• Qualified to Degree level preferred, degree must be in construction or at least 5 working years’ experience within the construction industry.
• Ideally have worked for a specialist interior fit out contractor
• Have experience administering JCT 2005 & JCT 2011 contracts with and without Design Portion, D&B, and Fixed Price and any NEC form of contract
• Able to deal well with people at all levels within their client as well as suppliers.
